Prior to joining Evex team Gregory Khurtsidze had been practicing medicine for over 20 years. Having graduated from Tbilisi State Medical University in 1995 he worked at the Institute of Cardiology, Tbilisi, Georgia. From 1999 to 2002 he practiced residency in internal medicine at Huron Hospital, Cleveland Clinic (Ohio, USA). In 2002 he was certified by the US Association for Internal Medicine. In 2002-2003 was appointed chief resident at Hillcrest Hospital under Cleveland Clinic Health System.

In 2003-2009 Gregory Khurtsidze joined Kirkpatrick Medical Group (Longview, Washington, USA) occupying himself with outpatient as well as inpatient medical practice. Since 2009 he has been practicing Hospital Medicine at St. John’s hospital within Northwest network of Kaiser Permanente (Longview, WA, USA). 2014-2015 was appointed Head of National Institute of Internal Medicine at PSP New Hospitals (Tbilisi, Georgia). He was recertified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2012 and by the European League Against Rheumatism (EULAR) in 2015. Gregory Khurtsidze holds medical licenses in Washington, Kentucky (USA) and Georgia.
